Principal HR Advisor

As Principal HR Advisor you will provide senior HR support to manage complex employee relations, investigations, and global HR documentation for Jhpiego. You will collaborate with HR leadership to deliver confidential, high-impact outcomes across country offices and priority projects. This role combines hands-on investigation work, staff training design, and finalizing a global HR manual to enable consistent, compliant people practices. You will contribute to critical HR initiatives in an international nonprofit setting, offering practical expertise and judgment.

• Support complex workplace investigations: plan, coordinate, document, and complete investigations with guidance from HR leadership and legal counsel
• Train HR staff on conducting investigations in a fair, consistent, and well-documented manner
• Finalize the Global HR Manual template for clarity, consistency, and usability across country offices
• Provide ad hoc project support: draft guidance, develop policies/processes, and prepare briefing materials
• Provide periodic updates to HR leadership on progress, risks, dependencies, and next steps

• Master's degree in Human Resources or related field
• Seven years related experience in health systems
• Demonstrated international HR support in an INGO or nonprofit environment
• Ability to work up to 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling
• Strong judgment and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
