Hospitalist Physician

Neuro Hospitalists are needed for locum tenens positions at a leading medical institution in San Antonio, TX. This role involves managing 8-15 patient encounters per day and requires the ability to read EEGs independently. The position provides flexible scheduling options such as weekends from Saturday to Monday or a 7-day on, 24-hour shift schedule. Candidates should be prepared to start as soon as possible and commit through December 2026.

• Manage 8-15 patient encounters per day
• Independently read and interpret EEGs
• Collaborate with the IR team for lumbar punctures
• Provide weekend or weeklong coverage as per schedule

• Board eligible
• Texas medical license
• Certifications in ABLS, ACLS, BLS required; PALS and ATLS not required

• Flexible shifts: Weekends Sat-Monday or 7-day on, 24-hour shifts

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting EEGs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and patient management skills
