Schedule & Coverage
Friday Sunday, 24-hour coverage
Two alternating coverage patterns:
- MD1 / MD2 / MD1

Friday: MD1 onsite from 7 AM to approximately 5:30 PM for OR and OB coverage, then available by phone (Voalte) from 5:30 PM to 7 AM.

Saturday: MD2 available by phone as backup to MD1.

Sunday: MD1 available by phone via Voalte.
- MD2 / MD1 / MD2

Friday: MD2 onsite from 7 AM to approximately 5:30 PM supervising CRNAs, then available by phone as backup from 5:30 PM to 7 AM.

Saturday: MD1 available by phone via Voalte.

Sunday: MD2 available by phone as backup to MD1.

Overnight in-house call is preferred. A call suite with a private bathroom is available.

The MD1 call physician must remain onsite for running epidurals, TOLAC, or high-risk obstetric patients in labor.
Clinical Details

Provide anesthesia for general surgery, plastics, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, endoscopy, and healthy pediatric cases.

OB proficiency is required.

Regional anesthesia skills are strongly preferred.

Must be able to perform various regional blocks, including pediatric blocks.

Endoscopy providers should be comfortable managing approximately cases per day.

Supervise CRNAs as assigned.
Requirements

Board certification in Anesthesiology

ABA eligibility accepted
-
Active Massachusetts medical license
-
ACLS and BLS certifications
-
DEA required
-
Minimum 1 year of experience

Name and NPI required for name-clear process

Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
