Opportunity Overview
  • 6-month Gastroenterology assignment
  • Coverage needed due to a gap
  • Inpatient and outpatient practice
  • 253-bed hospital
  • Adult patients, age 18+
  • Work alongside other Gastroenterology physicians
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred
  • Provation GI software experience preferred
Schedule & Coverage
  • 24-hour General GI call coverage
  • Weekday and weekend call
  • Clinic and hospital coverage
  • Rounding and consultations
  • Inpatient and outpatient GI procedures
  • Clinic volume: approximately 16 patients/day
  • Outpatient endoscopy: approximately 14-16 patients/day
  • Hospital census varies
Clinical Details
  • General Gastroenterology
  • Inpatient and outpatient consultations
  • GI procedures and endoscopy
  • ERCP required
  • Advanced endoscopy experience preferred
  • Double-balloon enteroscopy and capsule endoscopy may be included based on privileges
  • ERCP maintenance requirement: minimum 50 successful ERCP procedures within the past 2 years
  • Case logs required to verify recent GI and ERCP experience
  • Candidates who do not meet the ERCP volume requirement may require proctoring
Requirements
  • Gastroenterology Physician
  • MD/DO
  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • Active Washington license preferred
  • IMLC accepted
  • ACLS certification
  • Recent GI case logs
  • Minimum 50 ERCP procedures within the past 2 years
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • Provation GI experience preferred
  • Current and complete work history
  • No unexplained gaps of 30+ days
  • Residents and fellows not accepted
