Opportunity Overview
  • Rate: $84/hr
  • Start Date: January 4, 2027
  • 6-month contract
  • General GI Hospitalist
  • Hospital setting
  • Adult patients
  • Average patient age: 58
  • Support across 3 GI locations
  • 9 APPs, RNs, LPNs, and MAs
Schedule & Coverage
  • Flexible coverage
  • 7 days on / 7 days off accepted
  • Some providers may work 2 consecutive weeks
  • Typically 8-hour daytime shifts with overnight call coverage
  • Some night coverage may be required
  • Call-back coverage
  • Facility attempts to defer non-urgent cases until the following morning
Clinical Details
  • General Gastroenterology Hospitalist
  • Adult patients, approximately age 18+
  • General GI hospital coverage
  • Two APPs have advanced GI training and perform preliminary evaluations before advanced GI physician scheduling
  • Cerner EMR
Requirements
  • MD/DO
  • Gastroenterology
  • Board Certified required
  • West Virginia license required
  • IMLC candidates or candidates eligible for a WV temporary license may be considered
  • DEA required
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Minimum experience: Open
  • Credentialing: 60+ days
  • Willing to license
