Urgent Care LVN
Location: Castle Hills, TX
Pay:$37.17/hr (W2)
Type: Contract (Temporary)
Hours: 35 hrs/week (full-time clinic hours)
Overview
Seeking an Urgent Care LVN to deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care in a clinic setting. This is a patient-facing role supporting routine clinical services, screenings, and point-of-care testing.
Schedule
- Schedules are built in 6-week blocks (after training/orientation)
- Shifts typically fall within clinic operating hours (often 7-10 hours)
- Expect 2-3 weekdays + every other weekend
- May include some major holidays
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and perform routine clinical evaluations
- Administer medications/treatments as appropriate (per scope)
- Monitor/document vital signs and patient responses
- Perform and support point-of-care testing, vaccines, and phlebotomy
- Document thoroughly in an EMR (Epic preferred)
- Support patient education and connect patients with appropriate resources
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted LVN license
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year related healthcare experience
- Recent experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or ER
- Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
- Comfortable working in a clinic environment (experience limited to long-term care may not translate well)
Work Setting
- Clinic role in Castle Hills, TX (onsite as needed per clinic operations)
