  • Support Staff Available: RNs, physicians, ancillary staff
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active Virginia PA License, Active DEA
  • DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NCCPA
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of Hospital Medicine experience
  • Other Qualifications: FNP, AGACNP, or ACNP degree preferred; Epic experience preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide day coverage as part of a multidisciplinary team (7a-7p)
  • Round on patients under the direction of attending physicians
  • Perform admissions and discharges
  • Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff
  • Document in Epic EMR
