About the Role: North Point Senior Homecare in Virginia Beach, VA is looking for a compassionate and dedicated PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team. Responsibilities: - Provide skilled nursing care to senior clients in a home care setting on a PRN (as-needed) basis
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and document patient health status, vital signs, and changes in condition
- Develop and follow individualized patient care plans in coordination with the supervising RN
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding care updates
- Perform wound care, catheter care, and other clinical procedures as directed
- Educate patients and family members on health management and care techniques
Requirements: - Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Virginia
- Previous home health, geriatric, or senior care experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for home visits
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor with elderly populations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a home care environment
