Anesthesiology Physician

Seeking an experienced anesthesiologist for a high-acuity clinical setting in Louisville, Kentucky. • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2860-$3330
• Start Date: 9/14/2026
• Assignment Length: 26 weeks
• Schedule: 5 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 8 or 10 hour day shifts
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Patient Focus: High-acuity anesthesia cases including trauma, NICU, PICU, and care for healthy and medically complex pediatric patients
• EMR: Epic

• Minimum of 2 years of anesthesiology experience required
• MD or DO required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Active Kentucky medical license required
• PALS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Experience caring for high-acuity patients required
• Recent Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Must be comfortable treating both healthy and medically complex pediatric patients

• Provide anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical and procedural cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, dental, plastics, neurosurgery, spine, transplant, ENT, GI, EP lab, MRI, sedation, and interventional radiology
• Manage anesthesia services for busy NICU and PICU patient populations
• Perform procedures including caudal blocks, adductor canal blocks, interscalene blocks, arterial lines, and ESP blocks
• Supervise CRNAs, SRNAs, and anesthesia residents as needed
• Document patient care, place orders, and manage workflows in Epic EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality perioperative care
