Oro Valley Motion Physical Therapy Services is searching for a dedicated Licensed Physical Health Therapist to join our dynamic team in Morristown, New Jersey. This full-time position involves providing personalized care aimed at helping patients regain their mobility and functionality. We cater primarily to patients with private insurance, ensuring that they receive the highest standard of care tailored to their needs.
Work Environment
This position will be conducted onsite at our facility in Morristown, where you will work alongside a collaborative team of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). The clinic is designed to facilitate maximum patient care, featuring cutting-edge equipment and resources that empower our therapists to deliver exceptional rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the needs and objectives of patients in a clinical setting.
- Develop and implement comprehensive, patient-specific treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques.
- Efficiently manage a caseload of up to one patient per hour, ensuring that each patient receives dedicated attention and care.
- Deliver cost-effective rehabilitation services that focus on improving mobility and minimizing the reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
- Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey to optimize their functional outcomes.
- Utilize a range of manual therapy techniques to enhance treatment effectiveness and patient comfort.
- Document all aspects of patient care meticulously, maintaining accurate records in electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as WebPT.
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and achieve comprehensive outcomes.
- Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary based on treatment responses.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The primary focus of your care will be orthopedic patients seeking rehabilitation following surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. At Oro Valley Motion, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population that includes athletes recovering from sports injuries, older adults seeking to maintain mobility and independence, and individuals with acute or chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
- A clean professional record with no board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
- Demonstrated skills in manual therapy and applying exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
- Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is strongly preferred for efficient documentation and communication.
Preferred Experience
- A proven track record of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
- Experience in developing personalized fitness and wellness programs will be an advantage.
- Strong ability to engage with patients, promoting a positive and motivating treatment environment.
Compensation and Benefits
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
