Job Overview
Alto Staffing is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) licensed in Ohio to provide full-time, on-site healthcare services to the male population at a correctional facility. This is a weekday-only position with no evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage patients with chronic medical conditions
- Perform routine physical examinations to assess and manage patient health
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications and administer appropriate treatments
- Provide immunizations and vaccinations
- Perform minor procedures as training and competency allow
- Order and review laboratory tests, X-rays, and diagnostic studies
- Evaluate patients and determine the need for specialty referrals
- Review consultation reports and determine appropriate follow-up care
- Conduct rounds for infirmary patients as needed
- Provide routine and emergency medical care
- Document patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care according to facility guidelines
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
- Assist with medical reclassification and non-formulary medication requests when necessary
Job Types: Fulltime, 3 month or longer Contract
Pay: Up to $72.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
