The Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacists and pharmacy operations by preparing prescriptions, assisting patients, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure an efficient, compliant workflow.
Responsibilities
- Receive, process, and prepare prescription orders under pharmacist supervision.
- Assist customers with prescription pickups, questions, and service needs.
- Maintain accurate patient, prescription, and inventory records.
- Manage medication inventory, including stocking, ordering, and monitoring supplies.
- Process insurance claims and resolve routine billing issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspace.
- Follow pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in pharmacy operations.
