You will communicate prescription information using established scripts and workflows, document call outcomes and authorizations accurately in internal systems, and escalate questions or more complex situations to the appropriate pharmacy personnel. The role involves handling a high volume of calls each day while maintaining accurate documentation and meeting established productivity, quality, and HIPAA requirements. This is a phone-based pharmacy support position rather than a traditional dispensing pharmacy technician role.
