JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
  • Licenses: Active Virginia medical license required; DEA pending
  • DEA / CDS: DEA required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department.
  • Work various shifts including 5p-3a and 7p-7a as needed.
  • Manage trauma and acute care cases in a Level III trauma center.
  • Collaborate with support staff and specialists in a 495-bed regional referral facility.
  • Maintain cross-credentialing at multiple Valley Health sites (Winchester, Shenandoah Memorial, Warren Memorial, Page Memorial).
