Overview

In this executive role, you will lead STERIS's data and AI strategy to scale trusted data and analytics across the enterprise. You will own governance, platforms, and operating models that enable measurable value from data-to-AI initiatives. You will partner with Legal, Compliance, Quality, and business leaders to align investments with regulatory and strategic goals. You will drive adoption of AI and build a global, scalable data and AI organization with an AI Center of Excellence. This is a remote, globally oriented role with significant impact on performance and innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the enterprise data, analytics, and AI strategy and roadmap
  • Establish data and AI governance, standards, policies, and risk-management practices
  • Build the enterprise data foundation across governance, master data, data management, and analytics platforms
  • Lead the AI Center of Excellence and advance AI opportunities from concept to governed production with measurable value
  • Partner with business leaders, Legal, Compliance, Quality, and technology leadership to align investments with business and regulatory requirements
  • Drive enterprise AI adoption, enablement, and workforce literacy
  • Build and lead a scalable global data and AI organization
  • Manage data and AI investments, technology vendors, consulting partners, and platforms
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience
  • 5+ years leading data, analytics, or AI functions at enterprise scale
  • Experience building or leading an enterprise data and/or AI organization
  • Experience taking AI/advanced analytics initiatives from concept to production with measurable business value
  • Experience establishing data governance or data management across a complex organization
  • Experience operating in a regulated environment with compliance, privacy, and risk obligations
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, ML, generative AI, and emerging AI capabilities
