Job Description:

Audit and validate pieces of your work area to determine the quality of daily production.

Perform electrical, mechanical, and visual inspections on a variety of raw materials and production.

Complete AQL based on sampling and inspection of work, as required.

Indicate the acceptance or rejection of received material.

Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits and then report findings.

Prepare data sheets, inspection report, "hold" or rejection, "material approved label card" and dispositions.

Enter and verify pieces in the QMS quality monitoring system.

Monitor the "rework" of pieces.

Maintain good communication between related areas.

Responsible for keeping your work area clean and tidy (housekeeping).

Report to the supervisor/leader immediately any accidents or unsafe working conditions.

Perform other tasks as required by your supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required, Vocational or Technical Degree preferred.

Preferred experience, not required.

Completed University of Quality course.

Knowledge and interpretation of blueprints.

Knowledge of measurement instruments and their use.

Handle basic computerized systems.

Basic communication skills in English and Spanish.

Ability to work 100% of the time standing.

Ability to handle tubs, material, and/or equipment of 50 lb. or less.

Comply with established attendance and punctuality standards.

Maintain good work habits.

Comply with the established standards, practices, and regulations of Quality, HSE, and Human Resources.
