You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive high-value transactions while establishing scalable contracting standards. You will leverage legal tech and AI tools to accelerate workflows and improve risk management. Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a global legal team across multiple regions with scalable processes
- Direct negotiation and execution of complex commercial agreements for clinical trials, sponsor engagements, vendor partnerships and supporting services
- Establish global contracting standards, templates, playbooks, and risk management frameworks
- Collaborate with executive leadership, finance, business development, and operations to provide strategic advice on high-value transactions
- Champion legal technology, AI-driven tools, and contract lifecycle management to improve turnaround times and effectiveness
Key requirements- Juris Doctor (JD) with active bar admission in at least one jurisdiction
- 14+ years of post-qualification legal experience, including significant in-house CRO/pharma/life sciences experience
- Extensive experience negotiating CTAs, MSAs, work orders, vendor contracts, investigator agreements and other healthcare contracts
- Proven leadership in managing and developing legal teams across geographies and partnering with executive stakeholders
- Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, privacy, contract management technologies, and legal process optimization in a high-growth setting
