Overview In this Site Manager role, you drive on-site activities from installation through final acceptance, ensuring safety, schedule, and cost controls. You collaborate with project teams to align resources, manage changes, and maintain quality and documentation. You will lead site staff, monitor performance, and report progress to management while sustaining a safety-minded, efficient site culture. This position offers hands-on leadership in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with a clear impact on project success.
Responsibilities- Maintain a safe and clean working environment and ensure adherence to safety procedures
- Assign resources and plan support staff to execute projects on time
- Ensure Site Supervisors fulfill their roles and responsibilities
- Monitor adherence to site P9 process, documentation and reporting practices
- Issue and maintain weekly manpower requirements and forecasts
- Monitor work performance and provide frequent feedback
- Establish and maintain project white boards on site
- Submit weekly hours to payroll and accurate approved expense reports
- Collaborate with project management to manage site-related engineering changes
- Prepare and submit weekly project reports to department and Project Manager
- Ensure resources properly manage documentation and revision control distribution to align customers, staff and suppliers
- Resolve warranty issues in a timely manner and communicate with site quality during campaigns
- Perform other duties as required
Key requirements- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- 3+ years experience as a Site Supervisor or equivalent
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership across all phases of site installation
- Travel: extensive travel (81-100%)
- Preferred: Bachelor's in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business or related field
- 5+ years in site installation, integration or customer plant environment
- Machine tool build and body welding assembly integration and installation experience
- Experience in planning, budgeting, forecasting and resource planning for commissioning and site activities
