Overview As Engineering Manager, you will own a core US-based fraud and decisioning platform and lead a US-driven engineering team within a global delivery model. You will advance AI-enabled, secure, scalable fraud detection while ensuring platform reliability and measurable outcomes. You'll collaborate with Product, Risk, Data, and Engineering to align roadmaps with business impact and drive cross-region coordination. Responsibilities- Serve as US-based functional owner for a core fraud and risk platform domain, guiding technical direction and delivery outcomes
- Define architectural standards, KPIs, and reliability targets for production stability
- Advance AI-enabled capabilities via intelligent automation and model-driven decisioning
- Ensure production stability through monitoring, incident response, and root-cause analysis
- Collaborate with Product, Risk, Data, and Engineering to align roadmaps with business impact
- Drive scalability, resilience, and security improvements across the platform
- Provide people leadership and day-to-day oversight for US-based engineers
- Operate within a globally distributed delivery model with shared alignment
- Ensure delivery quality and adherence to standards and tooling
- Spearhead cross-region coordination and remove execution barriers
- Lead AI-First engineering practices and data-driven workflows
- Promote responsible innovation with production rigor and compliance
- Mentor engineers through coaching, performance management, and career development
- Drive high-quality code reviews, architectural governance, and CI/CD optimization
- Lead Agile ceremonies focusing on predictability and measurable results
- Support hiring and onboarding to strengthen technical depth
Key requirements- 6+ years of software engineering experience (4+ years with advanced degree acceptable)
- 2+ years of people management experience with demonstrated team development outcomes
- Experience owning or operating a production enterprise platform with defined reliability and performance targets
- Experience integrating AI/ML-driven capabilities into enterprise systems (preferred)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, observability, secure development practices, and system scalability
- Experience working within a global delivery model
- Proven track record of driving operational improvement and delivery predictability
- Strong leadership presence with ownership, accountability, and results
- English fluency (written and spoken)
