Overview

In this Plant Controller role, you will lead the financial operations of a new Greenfield manufacturing site, partnering with plant leadership to drive reliable financial planning, controls, and performance insights. You'll shape KPIs, optimize working capital, and implement digital tools to support rapid ramp-up and commercial success. You'll work cross-functionally to align operations with financial targets, while fostering continuous improvement and a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Responsibilities
  • Own commercial and financial success of the plant and act as a key member of the plant leadership
  • Help define long-term strategic targets and translate them into short-term actions
  • Ensure master data and value flow accuracy; optimize sales order controlling
  • Develop and monitor KPIs; coordinate cross-function actions to meet targets
  • Implement and modernize systems (e.g., SAP, MES) to support financial and technical needs
  • Manage inventory and coordinate with purchasing, planning, and logistics
  • Drive standardization and digitalization of processes; create new KPIs/reports
  • Design and monitor internal controls; address gaps with auditors
  • Recruit and develop the finance team; set challenging targets and coach others
Key requirements
  • BS in Accounting or Finance
  • 8 years in Finance, preferably in industrial manufacturing
  • Deep knowledge of large, complex manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of SCM and manufacturing processes beyond finance
  • Excellent SAP (FI/CO) expertise; experience with digital tools (Tableau, Snowflake, KNIME, PowerBI) and AI
  • Strong networking, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced setting
