Overview As a Leasing Consultant at Camden, you are the first impression for potential and current residents, guiding them through leasing and move-in while contributing to occupancy and retention goals. You will showcase community features, deliver exceptional resident experiences, and collaborate with the team to drive traffic and renewals. Your strong communication and problem-solving help you build lasting relationships and anticipate resident needs. This role offers meaningful impact in a people-focused, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Manage the leasing process from tour to move-in, including closing the sale and processing lease documents
- Showcase community features aligned with customer needs
- Support smooth renewals with a customer-focused approach
- Develop creative marketing and social media strategies to drive property traffic
- Contribute to occupancy and retention by following up with prospects and residents
- Apply problem-solving to handle unpredictable situations
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the community and competitors to inform decisions
- Foster positive resident relations through timely, courteous responses
- Prepare lease documents, resident files, and related bookkeeping tasks with attention to detail
- Collaborate with team to plan resident events
- Assist with other projects and activities as needed
Key requirements- One year of experience in sales, hospitality and/or customer service
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Meet or exceed sales and customer service goals
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Leasing and/or property management experience preferred
- Knowledge of OneSite and YieldStar preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
