Overview

As Site Lead, you guide a 8-12 person Tier II Network Engineering team responsible for the health and performance of a complex Intelligence Community network. You will ensure service delivery meets contract SLO/SLA and oversee quality, training, and resource management at the Las Cruces site. You collaborate with design and implementation engineers to resolve network issues and drive continual service improvements. This role puts you at the center of supporting critical government communications and shaping operations at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a Tier II Network Engineering team of 8-12 personnel responsible for operations and maintenance
  • Train, mentor, and account for all site personnel
  • Oversee health and wellness of program staff at the customer location
  • Manage personnel and materials to meet/exceed contract SLO/SLA per SOW and QASP
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to execute network operations, service delivery, and project work
  • Develop and implement local quality control processes to drive performance
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards and follow program procedures
  • Act as technical advisor and Program representative at site and program meetings
  • Collaborate with design/implementation engineers to resolve complex network issues
  • Drive process improvement, efficiency, and continual service improvement
  • Assist Regional Lead/Hiring Manager in talent acquisition and evaluation
Key requirements
  • 16 years of combined experience (work history and education)
  • DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 compliance
  • Experience leading technical network operations teams of 8-12 FTEs
  • Troubleshooting and solution development for network implementations and operations
  • Knowledge of Layer 1/2 networking concepts and basic routing
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
  • Working knowledge of Layer 3 protocols (OSPF, BGP, VRRP)
  • TCP/IP and OSI model knowledge
  • TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
