Overview As a National Accounts Strategic Underwriter, you will provide advanced underwriting support for large national accounts, shaping multi-year pricing and risk strategies. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions that align with business priorities, growth, and retention goals. You'll lead competitive proposals, RFP collaborations, and contract negotiations, while mentoring underwriting associates to boost productivity. Responsibilities- Create competitive, financially sound proposals for growth and renewals
- Collaborate on RFPs and lead contract customization and negotiations with risk mitigation
- Mentor/assist underwriting associates and monitor reports to improve productivity and efficiency
- Provide strategic underwriting support including financial modeling and risk assessments for national account clients
Key requirements- BA/BS in Finance, Actuarial Science, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years in large group insurance underwriting, actuarial analysis, or strategic finance
