Overview In this role you partner with HR and site leadership to support a high-performing workforce, focusing on policy guidance, employee relations, onboarding, and workforce planning. You will drive seamless HR operations at the plant, support post-acquisition integration, and coach leaders to uphold consistent practices. Responsibilities- Serve as the first point of contact for employees and leaders on HR policies, workplace concerns, and day-to-day people needs
- Partner with Plant Manager to forecast workforce needs and translate staffing plans into hiring priorities, collaborating with recruiters
- Coordinate and facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation
- Conduct workplace investigations with HR leadership guidance
- Coach leaders through performance management, attendance, corrective action, and employee concerns
- Support employee engagement, retention, training, and culture initiatives
- Drive post-acquisition HR harmonization by implementing company programs and practices at the site
Key requirements- Minimum 3+ years of experience in or with human resources
- Knowledge of pay and employment laws, practices, and legal requirements
- High level of interpersonal skills for handling confidential situations
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to collaborate across levels
- Ability to challenge partners with objective, data-driven insights and consider business and people impacts
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Business or related field or equivalent experience preferred
