Overview

In this role you partner with HR and site leadership to support a high-performing workforce, focusing on policy guidance, employee relations, onboarding, and workforce planning. You will drive seamless HR operations at the plant, support post-acquisition integration, and coach leaders to uphold consistent practices. The work centers on improving the employee experience while aligning with the company's values and strategic goals. Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees and leaders on HR policies, workplace concerns, and day-to-day people needs
  • Partner with Plant Manager to forecast workforce needs and translate staffing plans into hiring priorities, collaborating with recruiters
  • Coordinate and facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation
  • Conduct workplace investigations with HR leadership guidance
  • Coach leaders through performance management, attendance, corrective action, and employee concerns
  • Support employee engagement, retention, training, and culture initiatives
  • Drive post-acquisition HR harmonization by implementing company programs and practices at the site
Key requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in or with human resources
  • Knowledge of pay and employment laws, practices, and legal requirements
  • High level of interpersonal skills for handling confidential situations
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to collaborate across levels
  • Ability to challenge partners with objective, data-driven insights and consider business and people impacts
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Business or related field or equivalent experience preferred
