Overview As an Inside Supervisor, you will lead safe, on-time execution of field work for capital projects across Eastern CT. You'll coordinate multiple teams and contractors, uphold a strong safety culture, and ensure customer-focused service during outages and daily operations. You'll work closely with engineering, care, and external partners to keep projects on schedule and within budget. This role offers hands-on leadership with a focus on safety, performance, and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities- Ensure safe execution of field activities and set safety expectations for staff and contractors
- Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors to maintain project schedules
- Conduct performance reviews and address issues; apply local union contracts and resolve grievances
- Participate in pre-construction reviews and ensure timely, efficient field operations
- Manage budgets, time, materials, and records in accordance with guidelines
- Serve as construction liaison with Customer Care, Engineering, Warehousing/Transportation, and Stations Operations
- Monitor work planning from initiation to closeout for department tasks
- Maintain material availability and ensure construction readiness of job packages
- Support scheduling with accurate project timelines and address emergent issues with Outside Supervisors
- Prepare status reports highlighting key performance metrics and fulfill storm duty/on-call requirements
- Possess strong customer-first mindset to resolve issues and improve service quality
- Participate in emergency restoration assignments as needed
Key requirements- Five to ten years of related experience required
- Experience in electric distribution preferred
- Experience in a supervisory role preferred
- Bachelor or equivalent related experience required
- Valid Motor Vehicle License; DOT Driver's License preferred
- Knowledge of safe construction, operation, and maintenance of T&D facilities at various voltages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
