Overview

In this role you lead the regional Talent Acquisition function for the US and Canada, shaping policy, strategy and delivery to fuel growth. You will manage and develop a regional TA team, partnering with business leaders and HR partners to align talent needs with workforce plans. You drive data-driven hiring, innovate TA practices, and advance diversity initiatives across the region. You'll work with cross-functional partners to improve the candidate experience and ensure compliant, high-quality recruitment. This is a strategic, impact-focused role with a clear opportunity to influence the company's talent trajectory.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the regional TA team for the assigned business, focusing on coaching and mentorship
  • Drive innovation, strategy, and delivery excellence with strong business acumen and deep recruiting expertise
  • Develop solutions and strategies to deliver TA priorities based on current and future talent needs
  • Use TA analytics to influence stakeholders toward data-driven hiring decisions
  • Partner with strategic teams to advance diversity hiring and create pipeline pathways
  • Improve assessment, selection, hiring processes, and candidate experience; train hiring managers and interviewers
  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with local, state, and federal requirements
  • Align recruitment and retention policies with Menzies Aviation and industry standards
  • Analyze recruiting trends, best sources, and metrics to target talent
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required if relevant experience exists
  • Prior management experience required
  • Experience in aviation, logistics or service sector preferred
  • Experience recruiting high-volume entry-level roles
  • Ability to oversee a large team and provide strategic leadership
  • Strong report writing and record keeping abilities
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills capable of building trust with stakeholders at all levels
  • Fluency in English; ability to travel as required
