Overview In this role you will manage accurate, timely payroll processing across the US, EMEA, and APAC in a fast-moving tech environment. You will own end-to-end payroll activities, ensure compliance, and collaborate with HR, Finance, and external providers to scale payroll globally. You'll optimize data quality, strengthen controls, and support quarter- and year-end processes. This is a hands-on position for a senior payroll professional who thrives in cross-functional teams. You will help shape scalable payroll operations in a high-growth company.

Responsibilities- Process end-to-end payrolls on semi-monthly and monthly schedules for NA, EMEA, and APAC using ADP Workforce Now or local providers.
- Collect and validate payroll inputs including hires, terminations, changes, bonuses, equity income, benefits, time off, leaves, garnishments, deductions, and off-cycle payments.
- Review payroll registers, tax calculations, deductions, net pay, and funding prior to approval.
- Perform reconciliations and maintain audit-ready payroll records across all countries.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Equity Administration, Legal, and payroll vendors to resolve discrepancies and meet close deadlines.
- Resolve payroll questions with urgency and high service standards.
- Support quarter-end and year-end tax reporting, benefits and retirement reconciliations, and country-specific filings.
- Monitor vendor performance, ensure timely filings and deliverables, and maintain process documentation and control procedures.
- Identify root causes, drive improvements, and help automate or standardize payroll processes and reports.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc payroll reporting, analyze variances, and explain trends to partners.
- Protect confidential employee information and exercise sound judgment on sensitive data.
Key requirements- 10+ years of progressive payroll experience with strong U.S. and international processing.
- Experience handling multi-country payroll in EMEA and APAC via third-party providers or global models.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. payroll practices, taxation, deductions, leaves, and year-end reporting.
- Experience reviewing and reconciling complex payrolls with strong controls and audit documentation.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot, lookup, data validation, large data reconciliation).
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or equivalent, plus familiarity with HRIS, benefits, equity, timekeeping, and GL interfaces.
- Experience in a public/tech/high-growth global company is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple calendars and time-zone dependencies with limited oversight.
