Overview In this role, you will lead on-site construction management for federal facility recovery work in Kauai, from initial assessment to construction. You translate findings into executable scopes and priorities, directing construction managers and field teams to meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets. You will coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and vendors while communicating progress and risks to stakeholders. Responsibilities- Lead onsite construction management across facility repairs, building envelope restoration, utilities, and related infrastructure work
- Translate assessment findings into executable scopes, sequencing plans, and construction priorities
- Direct construction managers and coordinate engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
- Monitor safety, quality, schedule, budget, and progress and resolve issues that threaten delivery
- Review construction plans, submittals, requests for information, change proposals, and field documentation
- Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and recovery actions to internal and federal project stakeholders
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field and 10+ years of leading complex facility or infrastructure construction and repair programs including 2 years of leadership or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
