We are a growing exterior construction company specializing in residential and commercial fences and decks. We are looking for a hardworking, dependable Fence & Deck Helper with at least one year of construction experience to support our installation crews.

This position is ideal for someone who already has experience working in construction and wants to continue developing their skills while working alongside experienced installers.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead installers with the construction and installation of wood, vinyl, chain link, ornamental iron, and other fencing systems.
• Assist with building wood and composite decks.
• Load, unload, organize, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
• Dig post holes, set posts, mix concrete, and assist with framing and finishing work.
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools.
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow directions from the crew lead while maintaining productivity throughout the day.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers and customers.
• Help ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet company quality standards.

Qualifications

• Fence or deck installation experience is preferred.
• Experience using common hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds regularly.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
