Overview In this role you will lead the global compliance operations program as Intellia moves toward commercialization. You will partner across functions to scale systems, processes, and reporting, ensuring regulatory alignment and effective risk management. You will own data governance, investigations, and third-party risk, driving operational excellence in a fast-growing environment. This is a hands-on, cross-functional leadership role with a clear impact on compliance maturity and business enablement. You will shape the program roadmap and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements.

Responsibilities- Lead compliance systems governance and reporting enablement, shaping scalable operational solutions and roadmaps
- Oversee cross-functional initiatives to improve data quality and process performance
- Manage internal investigations process from intake to remediation tracking and monitoring
- Support corporate ERM and audit programs aligned to risk assessments
- Own compliance tooling strategy and operations (case management, due diligence tools, LMS interfaces, analytics)
- Lead vendor governance and performance management for outsourced compliance services
- Provide data governance leadership across compliance systems, defining quality standards and reporting requirements
- Develop and maintain third-party risk management program (due diligence, onboarding, renewal, termination)
- Embed compliance controls into internal and vendor lifecycle activities and ensure scalable operating procedures
- Collaborate across functions to influence decisions and advance initiatives
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Key requirements- 12+ years in life sciences/compliance with systems and process governance
- Experience leading complex initiatives with cross-functional influence
- Strong project/program management, risk, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to partner with IT, Finance, Legal on system/process enhancements and communicate to executives
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., AKS, False Claims Act, FCPA; price transparency laws)
- Experience with data governance and analytics (dashboards, KPIs)
- Experience with healthcare compliance programs is a plus
- Ability to design and govern compliant system-enabled processes and controls
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Power BI, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project
- OneTrust and Diligent experience a plus
- Bachelor's or Master/JD with substantial relevant life sciences compliance experience
