Overview In this role, you join a premier AmLaw 50 antitrust and competition practice in Washington, DC, working hybrid. You will advise multinational clients on merger reviews, investigations, and litigation at the intersection of business, government, and regulation. You'll handle high-profile matters, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help shape competition policy and compliance strategies. Responsibilities- Represent clients in federal and state antitrust litigation
- Assist with merger clearance reviews and related regulatory filings
- Advise clients during FTC, DOJ, and state AG investigations
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex competition issues
- Draft motions, briefs, agency submissions, white papers, and client memoranda
- Support internal and government investigations involving antitrust concerns
- Counsel clients on antitrust compliance and risk management strategies
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on transactions and litigation
- Monitor developments in antitrust enforcement and competition policy
Key requirements- JD from a top-tier law school
- Active DC bar in good standing
- 3-4 years post-JD experience in antitrust/competition law
- Experience handling antitrust litigation, merger reviews, and regulatory investigations
- Experience representing clients before FTC, DOJ, and state attorneys general (preferred)
- Knowledge of merger clearance processes, cartel investigations, and government enforcement
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional writing, advocacy, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters simultaneously
