Overview In this role, you will own the full lifecycle of Microsoft's northeast real estate portfolio, from planning to operation and maintenance. You will work with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality workspaces that support employees' performance. You'll drive multi-year regional strategy, financial planning, and portfolio optimization to align with Microsoft's objectives. You will solve complex, cross-company challenges using data-driven insights and proactive stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities- Oversee real estate and facilities management services through third-party vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective, high-quality delivery
- Lead multi-year regional planning for the portfolio, including strategy, business, financial, and operational planning
- Align and collaborate with peer organizations (Digital, Procurement, Security, Finance, Legal Corporate Affairs, HR) for seamless service portfolio operations
- Oversee capital planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial accountability for the portfolio
- Drive data-driven decisions and proactive problem-solving with clients and partners across multiple levels
- Establish and grow relationships with business leaders to tailor real estate solutions
- Share lessons learned and best practices across stakeholders
- Manage overall program governance, including change management and continuous service quality improvements
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, policy, and control requirements
- Maintain communication and knowledge sharing to disseminate best practices
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Real Estate, Project Management, or related field, AND 5+ years relevant experience OR 7+ years equivalent experience
- Experience in technology or corporate environments
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and financial analysis
- Vendor management and performance oversight
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and large-scale initiatives
