Overview As Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency at Riverview Regional Medical Center, you will set the strategic direction and oversee curriculum, teaching, and supervision. - Plan curriculum and oversee teaching, supervision, and resident evaluation
- Lead GME committees, lectures, and conferences
- Oversee recruitment, interviewing, and faculty development
- Coordinate research and scholarly activity within the program
- Monitor and evaluate program performance and outcomes
- Integrate IM program with physician practices and hospital services
Key requirements- Three to five years of Internal Medicine post-residency clinical experience
- Core faculty experience in an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency program
- Minimum 3 years of GME teaching/administrative experience as Program Director or Associate Program Director
- Excellent communication skills
- Involvement in research and scholarship (publications, presentations)
- Mentorship experience of residents and students in scholarship
