Overview In this role you drive the design, optimization, and deployment of computational methods and software for complex research problems. You will optimize algorithms and analytics pipelines to ensure scalable, reliable computing infrastructure and provide expert consultation on data processing and visualization. You collaborate with researchers to deliver impactful technical solutions, review code and analyses, and prepare figures and manuscripts for publication. You will guide junior developers and contribute to cross-functional project efforts in a research-driven setting.
Responsibilities- Oversee design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems
- Optimize and extend algorithms, pipelines, and software/firmware for effective and reliable systems
- Guide and train less experienced developers
- Support meetings, teleconferences, and travel as required by projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Doctorate degree in a related field OR Master's degree in a related field with 2 years of related experience OR Bachelor's degree in related field with 4 years of related experience
