Overview In this role you will advance dark proteome research in cancer as part of the Cancer Grand Challenges ILLUMINE team, collaborating with the GENCODE consortium. You will work on cancer-related projects focusing on non-canonical open reading frames, RNA translational control, and RNA diagnostics. You'll perform wet-lab and tissue culture work, with a multi-omic approach including ribosome profiling, RNA-sequencing, and epitranscriptomic profiling, contributing to data-driven discoveries. You will operate lab systems, document results, and support cross-functional planning, all while fostering a collaborative and scientifically adventurous lab culture.
