Overview In this role you assist in developing property-wide financial strategies that support brand initiatives and meet the needs of guests and staff. You provide the financial expertise to enable successful implementation of the brand service strategy and maximize ROI. You help create and execute a business plan aligned with the property and brand strategy, focusing on financial and accounting activities to deliver solid results. You work with cross-functional teams to improve profitability, controls, and cash flow, and you lead with integrity within a dynamic hospitality environment.
Responsibilities- Develop means to improve profit by evaluating costs and opportunities
- Forecast sales vs expenses and prepare annual budget plans
- Monitor actual vs projected sales and variances, including wages
- Assist in creating the annual operating budget for the property
- Provide analytical support during budget reviews to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Implement appropriate controls to manage business risks and safeguard assets
- Analyze financial data and market trends to inform decisions
- Lead and support the development of the annual business plan aligned with strategic direction
- Support ongoing analysis of operating department sales and cash flow
- Produce reliable forecasts to enable proactive operations
Key requirements- Bachelor in Finance and Accounting
- 1 year experience in finance and accounting OR Master's in Finance and Accounting
- Strong analytical and budgeting skills
- Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to stakeholders
