Senior People Systems Specialist - Integrations

Overview

In this role you will be a Workday expert and a key partner to global HR teams, driving the design, implementation, and maintenance of global Workday integrations. You will lead projects, provide advanced support, and push process improvements across HR technologies. You'll collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and external vendors to ensure optimal Workday investments and successful tech initiatives. This hybrid role blends technical delivery with people-focused collaboration to shape our HR tech landscape.

Responsibilities
  • Architect and build high-quality Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connectors
  • Create and maintain advanced Workday reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite) and Calculated Fields
  • Write and maintain custom XSLT and XML transformations for vendor data formats
  • Monitor daily integration schedules, troubleshoot failures, and support users during critical cycles (e.g., payroll)
  • Lead technical testing for semi-annual Workday feature releases, tenant updates, and patch deployments
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and external vendors to map data fields and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Create and maintain comprehensive business and system process documentation, technical specs, and test scripts
  • Stay current with trends in Workday and related HR systems
Key requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on Workday design, configuration, training, and support in a cloud solution environment
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Demonstrated success in leading technology initiatives
  • Experience with workflow analysis and translating into software functionality
