Overview As a Sr FMS IAMD Analyst, you will serve as an IAMD expert supporting international defense cooperation and security assistance. You will translate complex IAMD concepts for program decisions and executive engagement with U.S. and international stakeholders. You will manage responses to partner requirements and support FMS and international programs, guiding cost, schedule, and performance assessments. You will collaborate across engineering, acquisition, testing, logistics, and finance to ensure program success, while briefing senior leaders and participating in PMO forums. This role offers the chance to shape international IAMD programs and partner engagements at a strategic level.
Responsibilities- Act as IAMD subject-matter expert for international cooperation and security assistance activities
- Support executive briefings and engagements with senior government officials, military leaders, and international partners
- Respond to foreign partner requirements (RFI, P&A, LOR, LOA) and support FMS processes
- Analyze partner requirements, advise on IAMD capabilities and acquisition approaches
- Provide technical and programmatic input to cost, schedule, performance, resources, risks, and execution
- Coordinate across engineering, acquisition, testing, contracting, logistics, financial management, and sustainment
- Monitor program status, milestones, schedules, dependencies; identify issues and follow up
- Prepare executive-level briefings, decision-support products, and program documentation
- Participate in PMO forums, coordinate agendas, materials, and action items
- Interface between technical experts, program managers, senior leadership, and international stakeholders
- Support short-, mid-, and long-range planning for IAMD programs and partner requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business, management, or related field
- 10+ years of relevant DoD/Army or defense industry program experience
- Significant IAMD/AIMD technical knowledge and acquisition experience
- Experience with DoD acquisition programs and cross-functional work
- Proven briefing delivery to senior government, military, industry, or international audiences
- Strong analytical skills for requirements, cost, schedule, performance, and risks
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work onsite (full-time) as required and travel periodically
