Overview In this role you will partner with North American leadership to translate business goals into people strategies, driving workforce planning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. You will coach leaders, manage employee relations, and lead an HR Generalist to deliver high-impact HR programs. The role offers broad visibility, a focus on continuous improvement, and a chance to influence culture and business outcomes. You will work with cross-functional teams to strengthen leadership capability and employee engagement, shaping a high-performing workforce.

Responsibilities- Strategic planning with leadership to develop people strategies and workforce plans
- Leadership coaching to improve effectiveness, engagement, and capability
- Employee relations support balancing experience, business needs, and compliance
- Talent strategy and development including succession and organizational design
- Talent acquisition collaboration and pipeline development with educational and community partners
- HR programs and change management in collaboration with Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, HR Operations, and HRIS
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies; risk mitigation
- Lead, coach, and develop an HR Generalist; promote high-performing HR team and values
Key requirements- 7-10 years of progressive HR experience
- Experience as a strategic HR business partner and trusted advisor to leadership
- Experience mentoring or developing HR professionals
- Ability to influence decisions and drive outcomes in a complex environment
- PHR/SPHR/SHRM certification preferred
- Experience in heavy equipment, industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or related environments preferred
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and implementing HR initiatives with broad impact
- Strong HRIS and Microsoft Office skills (including SuccessFactors, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
