Overview

As Head of Projects you will lead and grow a team of Project Managers, delivering PM services on major projects and programs. You'll ensure service excellence, drive client engagement, and expand our project management offering through market outreach. You will shape strategy, manage resources and finances, and foster a learning, inclusive culture. This role sits within the project management capability and offers a meaningful impact on high-profile construction programs. You'll act as a brand ambassador, advancing growth while upholding quality and governance.

Responsibilities
  • lead a project management team and ensure delivery of accountabilities
  • oversee client communications and PM services
  • conduct market research and produce construction market insights
  • lead strategic and operational management including resource and financial planning
  • drive business development, client engagement, and training
  • align team strategy with the Business Plan and promote a culture of learning and inclusivity
  • manage knowledge systems and quality controls including ISO audits
  • develop risk-based priority plans and KPI-based performance measures
  • coordinate internal and external audits and maintain certifications
  • identify cross-selling opportunities and support proposals/RFPs
  • mentor staff and support talent acquisition for future staffing needs
  • represent the office in meetings with senior leadership and external stakeholders
  • maintain a one-business culture balancing needs of people, clients, and society
Key requirements
  • 12+ years of relevant construction project management experience
  • 2+ years leading large multi-discipline teams in a consulting environment
  • proven track record delivering PM services for clients
  • strong business development experience and ability to grow the portfolio
  • major construction sector experience with high-caliber clients
  • excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills
  • Bachelor in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering; graduate degree preferred
  • SOX considerations may apply; on-site presence as needed
