Overview In this role you support monthly and year-end closes, maintain accurate ledgers, and streamline processes through advanced analytics. You will interact with clients, prepare tax and compliance documentation, and contribute to budgeting and financial governance. Responsibilities- Prepare monthly and year-end closing journal entries
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account reviews
- Develop and use advanced Excel workflows linked to Dynamics 365
- Automate recurring tasks via Excel workbooks to improve data accuracy
- Prepare and file annual 1099 forms
- Conduct use tax analyses and multi-jurisdictional filings
- Apply Power Query and Automate to enhance accounting workflows
- Review general ledger for misclassifications and variances
- Maintain organized financial reports and records
- Review expense reports for policy compliance and reimbursement
- Process vendor/subcontractor AIA pay applications and approvals
- Interface with clients and prepare client invoices and supporting documents
- Meet corporate deadlines and assist in annual budgeting
- Support Finance and Accounting Data Governance and document control
- Review project documents for completeness and contract compliance
- Assist with tax matters including tax provision and corporate filings
- Perform treasury functions including bank reconciliations and cash management
- Reconcile project close-outs and discrepancies
- Review project opening reports and onboard new client projects
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Three years of experience in accounting and billing operations
- One year of experience with ASC606 revenue recognition
- Experience with expense classification and PPE accounting
- Advanced Excel functions
