Overview As Senior Accountant at a mission-driven private foundation, you will support the monthly and annual close, maintain the general ledger, and ensure accurate financial reporting. You will assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, and manage treasury activities and banking relationships. You'll support the annual financial statement audit and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and controls. Responsibilities- Support monthly/annual close, GL, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare financial reporting and ensure accurate accounting
- Support annual financial statement audit and external auditors
- Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Manage banking relationships and treasury activities
- Support accounting treatment for complex transactions and new activities
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and internal controls
- Partner cross-functionally with finance, leadership, and program teams
- Participate in cross-training and broader finance initiatives
