The Roofing/Siding Technician plays a crucial role in residential construction by installing and repairing roofing and siding materials. This position works closely within a small team, reporting to the project manager, and requires frequent travel to multiple job sites. The technician ensures high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards and maintaining excellent customer interaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Install roofing materials following project specifications
- Install siding on residential properties with precision
- Handle and transport materials safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices
- Inspect for damage and perform necessary repairs
- Engage professionally with customers during projects
- Maintain clean and organized work sites post-completion
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in roofing and siding installation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven skills in roof and siding installation
- Strong understanding of safety compliance
- Experienced in the use of roofing tools and equipment
- Ability to handle materials and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
