Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of safety regulations and field operations.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments.
- Valid driver's license + good driving record
- Willingness to work overtime
- Pass initial and random drug screens, initial agility test & DOT medical exam
- Willngness to submit for background check and MVR
Preferred Qualifications:
- CDL + good driving record
- Previous experience in geotechnical or geothermal or related field work.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Basic mechanical skills and experience with equipment maintenance.
- OSHA 10 or 30
- Skid Steer or Mini-Excavator experience
- Ability to read and write legibly
Responsibilities:
- Support the lead driller in operating drilling machinery, including managing drill rods, pipes, and other tools.
- Monitor drilling fluid levels and assist in mixing and handling drilling muds and additives as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the drilling site to comply with safety and environmental regulations.
- Help collect and document geological samples and drilling data accurately for further analysis.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on drilling equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
Compensation details: 20-25 Hourly Wage
