Acute Care RN Topeka, KS Start 10/12/ Weeks Contract Are you an experienced RN looking for a short-term opportunity in a high-paced Level II Trauma Center? Quick Facts: Location: Topeka, KS Start Date: 10/12/2026 End Date: 04/12/2027 Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (Days) Hours per Week: 36 hours Employment Type: Contract License/Certs: KS State License or Multistate License, BLS, ACLS (via AHA) Experience: Acute care experience, cardiac management preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $60.30/hr Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program and dedicated support team What You ll Do: Provide acute care nursing in a fast-paced Trauma Center environment Initiate and manage admission orders for varied patient diagnoses Document initial assessments accurately and promptly Monitor and manage cardiac/anticoagulant drips (e.g., Cardizem, Heparin) Support rapid patient throughput with minimal supervision Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care priorities Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards What You Need: Valid Kansas State Nursing License or Multistate Compact License BLS and ACLS certifications (via AHA) At least 1-2 years of acute care experience, preferably in a trauma or emergency setting Proven ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and manage time efficiently Experience with cardiac management and rapid patient turnover About the Assignment: Join a leading facility in Topeka, Kansas, renowned for its level of care and award-winning service.
