What You ll Do
- Provide psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans for adolescent patients
- Manage 6 12 patients per day, including medication management and psychotherapy
- Participate in developing individualized care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Handle weekend rounding and after-hours on-call responsibilities
- Make admission orders during night shifts when necessary
- Work within a supportive, clinical environment focused on adolescent mental health
- Utilize electronic medical records and diagnostic imaging tools to inform patient care
What You Need
Required: - Board Certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry or General Psychiatry with completed CAP fellowship
- California medical license
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 3+ years pediatric and adolescent psychiatry experience in a medical-center setting or completion of a pediatric psychiatry residency
- Experience managing complex pediatric populations and medications
- Strong communication skills and cultural competence
Preferred: - Experience with complex behavioral cases and family systems
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and with families
