Overview In this HR Generalist role you will oversee core human resources functions for a multi-state workforce, ensuring consistent policy application and service delivery. The role emphasizes compliance, employee support, onboarding, benefits, and HR operations to drive organizational efficiency. Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end HR support for 500 employees across multiple states, ensuring consistent service and policy application
- Guide managers and staff through employee relations matters with practical resolutions aligned to regulations
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires from pre-employment to integration
- Administer employee benefit programs and respond to questions on coverage and HR policies
- Oversee workers' compensation processes including case coordination and communications with partners
- Support performance management activities with reviews, feedback, and development discussions
- Monitor HR practices for compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws including FMLA requirements
- Manage HR-related projects and process improvements to boost efficiency and employee experience
- Maintain and utilize HRIS tools to keep records accurate and support reporting and workforce administration
Key requirements- Experience in lead HR support for a sizable, multi-state employee population
- Proficient handling of employee relations and resolution alignment with company standards and regulations
- Experience coordinating onboarding and benefits administration
- Knowledge of workers' compensation processes and case coordination
- Familiarity with performance management processes and employee development discussions
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws including FMLA compliance
