Overview In this Director role, you will lead and shape complex revenue cycle and performance improvement initiatives for hospitals and health systems. You'll work with senior client leaders to design sustainable solutions that improve financial performance, optimize processes, and reduce leakage, while guiding cross-functional teams through change. You'll build enduring client relationships and contribute to business development, delivering impactful results that align with Huron's mission to transform healthcare. Responsibilities- Analyze revenue cycle processes to improve financial performance and reduce leakage in hospitals and health systems
- Develop and implement best practices for revenue cycle management with regulatory compliance and efficiency focus
- Lead and direct teams on complex performance improvement engagements, managing budgets, invoicing, and billing
- Quantify benefits and identify risks, addressing data gaps with practical solutions
- Create and deliver presentations and proposals to client stakeholders
- Lead change management efforts and build strong client relationships throughout engagements
- Define roles, coach teams, and manage performance to ensure project success
- Identify business development opportunities aligned with Huron capabilities
- Complete required trainings and compliance programs
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of healthcare consulting experience in revenue cycle
- Travel willingness (less than 50% typical)
- Experience directing departments/projects in hospital revenue cycle, denials management, or patient access
- Project leadership within a consulting firm with a focus on revenue cycle or performance improvement
- Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to train staff and manage multiple projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Direct supervisory experience of individuals and teams
- US Work Authorization
