Overview In this role you will support finance operations within Workday, focusing on record-to-report and general financial accounting. You will partner with Accounting and Finance teams to troubleshoot, configure, and continuously improve processes. You'll build relations across business units and drive change management, close activities, and data-driven process improvements. Responsibilities- Document requirements, business processes, and recommendations for proposed solutions
- Understand business data challenges and communicate requirements across units
- Identify suboptimal processes via real-time data analysis and drive improvements
- Provide Day-to-day support for close-related Workday processes and suggest configuration enhancements
- Coordinate testing, write scenarios, and assist with issue resolution for process improvements
- Lead change management activities and manage user acceptance testing
- Ensure training and procedures support new processes and projects
- Support Workday release updates and assess impact on Financial Accounting/R2R
- Monitor close-cycle data and reconciliation status to flag issues and drive improvements
Key requirements- Cross-functional communication of technical data concepts to both technical and business users
- Project management with shifting priorities and deliverables
- End-user documentation and visual workflows for Enterprise Applications
- Strong knowledge of financial planning processes (budgets, forecasting, workforce planning)
